Quality Assurance Program Manager -UAE

Key Tasks:
•Monitor the Quality and Airworthiness Management Systems, supplier compliance, continuing airworthiness and performance monitoring throughout the Aviation Business Unit.
•Ensure ongoing quality and airworthiness compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
•Manage a team of Quality Assurance Officers and to lead audits, managing and mentoring a team of auditors in the conduct of audits.
•Monitor the performance of the Quality and Airworthiness Management Systems to comply with the Aviation Business Unit requirements.
•Manage a team of Quality Assurance Officers.
•Assist in the management of compliance with Quality/Airworthiness regulations and standards throughout the Aviation Business Unit.
•Lead and manage audits of the Quality/Airworthiness management system.
•Program Quality/Airworthiness Assurance activities.
•Manage corrective actions for external and internal audit findings, within the required timeframes.
•Develop and implement Quality Assurance procedures and policy.
•Facilitate the development and review of procedures and policies.
•Maintain a quality and airworthiness publication library.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
•Experience of Quality and Airworthiness management systems in the aviation industry.
•Experience in a QA/QC role within the aviation industry.
•Be a Lead Auditor with experience auditing quality and airworthiness regulatory requirements.
•Experience in managing, training and mentoring staff in dispersed locations.
•Experience with quality ISO 9001:2008 regulations.
•Experience with airworthiness ICAO, FAA/EASA and CAA regulations.
•Experience in document control, continuous improvement programs and audit programming.
•Knowledge of customer requirements including United Nations, US Department of Defense and the Contracted Airlift Review Board process.
•Good communication skills at all levels of the organization.
•Demonstrated teamwork skills.
•Demonstrated attention to detail.
•Successfully completed tour in either Iraq or Afghanistan or lived and worked extensively in a similar austere environment.
•Prior experience working within a multicultural environment.
•Native level written and spoken English.
•Well developed computer skills, including spreadsheets and word processing.
Preferable Skills and Qualifications:
•Experience with Aerospace Quality standards including AS9100.
•Previous combat tour or extensive experience in austere environments.
•Russian language abilities.
