Insurance Risk Manager
A leading Saudi Insurance & Reinsurance Company has an opportunity in its Head Office in Riyadh for an Insurance Risk Manager to take on a key role within the Risk function. He will be reporting directly to the CEO.
The salary range would be according to capability & experience of selected candidate from 20-25K basic,
25% housing, 10% transportation, annual one month paid vacation for employee and his family up to his home town and medical as well as life Insurance facility as per Company’s H.R. Policy.
The Role
·         Insurance Risk Manager will help to shape the Company’s risk profile in context of today’s business and regulatory environment.
·         Develop a clear strategic view of operational risk management. He will identify and mitigate the operational risk to the Company on Financial, IT, Production, Sales & Marketing, HR and Internal control aspects and business Continuity.
·         The Insurance Risk Manager will also be responsible for coordinating independent risk assessment activities for the Company ensuring that the risk information is gathered and analyzed properly to monitor compliance with Company’s respective risk appetite ensuring that  the risk management framework  within the Company are effective and appropriate.
Duties are as follows:
·         Manage each business according to  respective  risk profile consistent  with  risk appetite  and  limits.
·         Develop & Implement processes/ tools for identifying, assessing, monitoring and reporting on all risks Consistent with approaches developed according to ERM (subject to “adopt and adapt”)
·         Implement risk register and governance structure.
·         Provide risk analytics/tools to underwriting teams to optimize portfolio within risk constraints.
·         Provide risk information to support local regulatory agency.

Accountabilities for the role:
·         Ensure that  relevant areas of  the business are up  to date  in their  knowledge  of  their risk management responsibilities
·         Ensure that the Risk function is accessible to the business  both formally and  informally by building profile around the business and effective relationships and ensuring communication is professional.
·         Help develop a robust risk culture to underpin the effectiveness of the entire risk management
infrastructure (e.g. Company’s philosophy towards risk, risk appetite, governance and structure of the risk function, etc).

·         Assess all risk affecting the Company strategic objectives.
·         Oversee and provide  support in  the implementation  of  the risk governance structure to help the business develop and implement the local risk management function.
·         Lead  the development  and  embedding  of  risk appetite  measures within  the  Company ensuring  that thresholds and metrics are aligned to business strategy.
·         Make recommendations  and justifications  to the Company’s  Risk Committee  and the Board  on suitable levels of risk appetite.
·         Ensure risks are being managed and controlled within the risk appetite set by the Company.
·         Escalate any concerns regarding critical risk decisions, transactions and potential breaches of appetite to the CEO.
·         Ensure that the Risk Committee is kept appraised of the changes in the profile of all risks and in particular any risks which are near or in excess of appetite.
·         Ensure that a comprehensive risk reporting system is established and maintained, which is aligned to the needs of the ERM framework.
·         Monitor adherence to the risk policy and provide management reports on aggregate risks across each risk category and their interactions.
·         Work closely with CEO to serve as point of contact for all risk reporting.

Requirements:Applicants should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Fluent English language skills. Arabic will be a plus.
- Knowledge and practical experience of Developing, implementing and managing an enterprise risk
  management framework including:
- Risk frameworks.
- Governance.
- Risk policies
- Risk appetite
- Risk profiles.
- Internal control environments.
- Familiarity with relevant financial statement disclosures.
- Regulatory relationship management.
- Leadership & analytical skills.
- A background in regulated financial services sector, ideally with exposure to General insurance & 
  Reinsurance as well as Health Insurance segments.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office packages such as Excel,  Word, PowerPoint and Outlook effectively and efficiently.
- At least 7 to 10 years of related work experience at Managerial level within Insurance Companies and Financial Institutions is required for this position. 
- Graduation or MBA with Associate in Risk Management (ARM) Qualifications will be an ideal for a
  successful candidate.
Regional Sales Manager
Major Responsibilities:
·         Managing the virtual distribution network.
·         Collects and analyses feedback from sales force to provide real-time support and service.
·         Develop and draw business plan for the sales force of region in consistent with business development division plan.
·         Planning / budgeting / forecasting for sales force and monitor strict adherence of all targets, guidelines to ensure profitability run as set by business development division
·         Provide necessary guidance to sales force as required for effective completion/implementation of tasks/plans assigned to them by business development division.
·         Gather and analyze feedback from sales force from different sales source to provide real-time support and report to Regional manager
·         Manage all operational resources required to facilitate selling and servicing prospective clients and provide immediate feedback to AVP business development to improve level of services.
·         Develop fruitful business relationship for mutual benefits through business exchange.
·         Ensure continuous availability of selling & servicing materials.
·         Responsible for Marketing and Sales through allocated channels mainly direct, large brokers and MRs
·         Responsible for meeting premium budgets set for his group by KA – Relationship Manager.
·         Manage the day-to-day sales operation.

·         Ensure proper training to MRs as well as implementation of procedures.
·         Responsible for premium collections.

Work Experience:
·         6 years relevant insurance sales experience
·         Minimum 3 years in insurance sales managerial position
·         Strategic business leadership

Internal Audit Manager
·         Primary responsibilities include performing financial, operational, system and process audits of the company’s business units and outsourced operations.
·         Responsible for generating the company’s overall internal control of its operation.
·         Requires a broad audit experience and the ability to interact with management at all levels.
·         Requires excellent skills as well as strong knowledge of GAAP and audit techniques.
·         Responsible for planning, executing and completing audit fieldwork according to established schedule , recommending internal control improvements that may include operational enhancements or efficiencies , and the preparation of audit reports as well as documenting controls.
·         Build and manage an effective IQ regional team, and is able to conduct annual risk assessment, deliver annual audit plan etc.
·         Utilizes audit objectives and procedures to review and assess the adequacy and application of internal controls through corporate operations. , may require the development and refinement of audit programs, questionnaires or other audit tools
·         Develop a thorough understanding and knowledge base of company’s operations
Establish effective business relationships within the company and assist management in the understanding and adaptation of internal control principles.

·         Be a team player and embrace the company’s compliance principles as a key component of audit process
Execute an efficient and effective audit approach as defined by internal audit management and ensure that all assigned work is completed according to schedule and within the establish budget parameters.

·         Document and actively participate in the development of audit procedures performed as well as the preparation of noted concerns for audit report inclusion
·         Be computer literate and have experience in the preparation and analysis of audit data through computer aided audit tools ( ACL, spreadsheets , database tools )
·         Maintain a current knowledge base of audit industry practices and to ensure best practices as always considered. Performed all assigned audit duties in manner that reflects the highest professional standards and complies with the guidelines of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
·         Requires Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field 
·         Experience in Internal Audit
·         Direct People Management skills
·         CPA, CIA or Chartered Accountancy is highly desirable
·         Minimum of 6 solid years of experience in Audit (external or internal)
