Functional Job Title: Java Application Developer
JOB SUMMARY
The role holder is the member of development team and responsible for in house applications development and support.
MAIN JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyze, design, develop and implement the applications.
• Interact with business users/business analyst and prepare the specifications and user requirements.
• Interact with the business, support functions and technology teams to understand the requirements and deliver high quality documentation and scalable solutions.
• Understand the technical designs, data modeling and data flow to provide the scalable solutions.
• Build test scenarios.
• Conduct the review sessions with the users to ensure acceptance and signed off by users.
• Closely liaise with our support functions and to provide the 2nd and 3rd level applications support.
• Liaise with relevant third-party vendors in applications where external application support arrangements are in place.
PRE-REQUISITES
Min Education Qualifications :
• Bachelor or Master degree relevant to Information Technology
• Required Experience :
• 8+ years of experience on Java, J2EE application development.
• Strong system development background.
• Experience in working in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC.
Technical Skill required
• Experience in JEE technologies JDK 6/7, EJB3.X, JSF, JSP, JMS
• Programming knowledge of JSF, Core java, Java multi-threading is must.
• Knowledge in Spring core, will be an added advantage
• Sound knowledge on Oracle, SQL server databases.
Preferred:
• Oracle developer certification.
• Banking experience.
