Be A Part of Change

Dear Friends Assalamoalikum,

I am writing to you on behalf of the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP), a platform for all Muslim professionals and willing volunteers to share their knowledge, intellect, experience and skills for the overall development of the Muslim Community and for further empowering Muslims in the Intellectual, Social, Political and Economical fronts of life.

Not every child is blessed enough to have parents/ guardians who are sufficiently educated and who can guide him/her during School and College life and further support in shaping his/her Career. Unfortunately, there are thousands of young students who do not have anyone from whom they can seek guidance for deciding upon a suitable career path.

Almost all Professionals like us, wish to give back to the society and want to help our community to excel in all the fields, especially in the field of Education. However, because of being largely occupied by our hectic schedules many times we are unable to do so. Also, we do not have a proper channel through which we can make the required contribution to the upliftment of our community.

Since the last few years, AMP has been organizing a Mega event on Career Guidance for SSC & HSC students. The main objective of this event is to provide the right direction & guidance to Students and their Guardians so that they can make a well-informed decision regarding their career and future depending on what best suits their abilities and interests. Each year, many working professionals like you attend this program and guide students with their rich experience in their respective fields and motivate them in general as well. This activity has always been the USP of our event as no other platform gives these students the opportunity to have one-on-one interactions with professionals from such diverse fields under one roof.

The only thing we would like you to do is to contribute your valuable time and see how it makes a difference. The event will be held from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on 15th & 16th Dec 12 at Saboo Siddik College at Byculla. We would appreciate if you could attend for entire two days,however, if you have some other commitments, then you can share the time-slots when you can come. You will also get a chance to interact with AMP Team members and other professionals during the event.
