Dont Take Life Seriously

Don't just have career or academic goals
;set goals to give you a balanced, successful life.

Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships,
mental peace are all in good order.

There is no point of getting a promotion on
the day of your breakup.

There is no fun in driving a car if your back hurts.

Shopping is not enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions.

Don't take life seriously.

Life is not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here.

We are like a prepaid card with limited validity. If we are lucky,
we may last another 50 years. And 50 years is just
2,500 weekends.

Do we really need to get so worked up?
…It's OK, score low in couple of papers, take leave from work,
fight a little with ur near & dear, Love as mush as you can with your near and dear...
It's ok... We are people, not programmed devices..!

"Don't be serious, enjoy Life as it comes"

The Unhappy Young Lady

The old Master instructed the unhappy young lady to put a handful of salt in a glass of water and then to drink it. "How does it taste?" the Master asked. "Very bad" Said the lady.

The Master then asked the young lady to take another handful of salt and put it in the lake. The two walked in silence to the nearby lake and when the apprentice swirled his handful of salt into the lake, the old man said, "Now drink from the lake."

As the water dripped down the young lady's chin, the Master asked, "How does it taste?" "Good!" remarked the apprentice. "Do you taste the salt?" asked the Master. "No," said the young lady.

The Master said, "The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less. The amount of pain in life remains the same, exactly the same. But the amount we taste the 'pain' depends on the container we put it into. So when you are in pain, the only thing you can do is to enlarge your sense of things..... Stop being a glass.  Become a lake!"

Coffee and Cups : A Stress Buster

A group of highly educated students visited their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering them coffee, Professor returned from kitchen with a pot of coffee and an assortment of cups- porcelain, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.

When all had a cup of coffee in hand, The professor said:

"If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain ones. While it's but normal for you to want only the best, that's also the source of your stress. What you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, But you still went for the best cups and were eyeing each other's cups!" :)

Me and my friends went out for dinner in one of the best restaurants . And

Once I was on call with my father and mom was not around. I went on to ask,
“Why is she not attending the weekly status call?”?
_________________________________________
I don’t login to facebook, yahoo, gmail, youtube, etc.. at my personal
internet connection at home… thinking it will be blocked any way. Till I
realize – I am at home.?

Yeah sometimes it does happens with me also. keeping hands in front of tap
waiting for water to drop by itself is very frequent with me. I just forget
that we have to turn on and off the tap….?

Once after talking to one of my friends
I ended the conversation saying, "Ok bye…in case of any issues will call u

And I – after a hectic week, went to a movie. In the middle of the movie,
when I wanted to check the time, I kept repeatedly glancing at the bottom

Touching story of appreciation

Story of Appreciation

One young academically excellent person went to apply for a managerial position in a big company.

He passed the first interview, the director did the last interview, made the last decision.

The director discovered from the CV that the youths academic achievements were excellent all the way, from the secondary school until the postgraduate research,
Never had a year when he did not score.
The director asked,
Did you obtain any scholarships in school?
The youth answered none.
The director asked,
Was it your father who paid for your school fees?
The youth answered,
My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.
The director asked,
Where did your mother work?
The youth answered,
My mother worked as clothes cleaner.
The director requested the youth to show his hands.
The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.
The director asked,
Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes before?
The youth answered,
Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books.
Furthermore, my mother can wash clothes faster than me.

The director said,
I have a request. When you go back today, go and clean your mothers hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.*
The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back, he happily requested his mother to let him clean her hands. His mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to the kid.

The youth cleaned his mothers hands slowly. His tear fell as he did that. It was the first time he noticed that his mothers hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother shivered when they were cleaned with water.

This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fee. The bruises in the mothers hands were the price that the mother had to pay for his graduation, academic excellence and his future.

After finishing the cleaning of his mothers hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.

That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.

Next morning, the youth went to the directors office.

The Director noticed the tears in the youths eyes, asked:

Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?

The youth answered,

I cleaned my mothers hand, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes
The Director asked,
please tell me your feelings.

The youth said,

Number 1,
I know now what is appreciation. Without my mother, there would not be the successful me today.

Number 2,

By working together and helping my mother, only I now realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done.

Number 3,

I have come to appreciate the importance and value of family relationship.

The director said,
This is what I am looking for to be my manager. I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life. You are hired.

Later on, this young person worked very hard, and received the respect of his subordinates. Every employee worked diligently and as a team. The companys performance improved tremendously.

Moral : You can let your kid live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, watch a big screen TV. But when you are cutting grass, please let them experience it. After a meal, let them wash their plate and bowl together with their brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love them in a right way. You want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will grow grey, same as the mother of that young person.

The most important thing is your kid learn how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learn the ability to work with others to get things done.

Roads and trails

Roads and trails
There may be some steep hills,

or roads that are dangerous as they do not know where to take ...

Sometimes it seems that you are about to fall

you can also take many turns

But while transites by the ups and downs of life

I hope you always have in mind the presence of Almighty who goes with you through each tunnel,

in each bridge,

at every turn,

slippery amid storms of life;

Walking with you in the valleys and on the slopes,

taking your hand and leading you in the dark,

I put a railing to keep you safe

and help you find the joy and excitement that is in the roller coaster of life,

and to fill you with wonder at the beauty that you provide along the way.

Remember to take time to smell the flowers

To admire his work

and that His love will flood, fill you up and overflow!

Almighty IS ALWAYS THE CENTER OF YOUR LIFE AND YOUR HOME.

HAVING A CHILD A TREE PLANTING AND WRITE A BOOK IS EASY ...

IT IS DIFFICULT TO RAISE A CHILD TO WATER THE TREE AND SOMEONE READ THE BOOK.
