Dear prospective Master and PhD students ((both genders are welcome),

King Saud University (KSU) (www.ksu.edu.sa), Saudi Arabia invites online applications for Master and PhD Studies in all disciplines for its 2013/2014 academic year. The admission most probably will be granted in Sept. 2013, however, Feb. 2013 may also be possible, if visa issued faster.

Interested students can apply online at https://dgs.ksu.edu.sa/DGS8/Login.aspx. Both Arabic and English version of the website is available. All relevant information is available there. Pls go through the details, and if you still have some unsolved concerns, pls feel free to call/write, however, pls remember that I am not the coordinator of the programme. It is just a part of social service.

Make all your relevant/required academic/experience documents as one file, passport copy as separate. Passport copy is mandatory at the time of application. Provide as much information/document as possible to support your application.

Those having above 60% aggregate marks are recommended to apply.

TOEFL and GRE are must in almost every discipline. One can get it confirmed from the above mentioned website.

Online application will start at 17^th Nov. 2012 and will last at 7^th Dec., 2012.

Part time is not allowed for non-saudi students at the moment.

In general, university offers following, however, it may vary or remain same from department to department.

Scholarship:

Master: SR 2000/month, PhD: SR 3000/month

In addition, Profs having research fund can also support financially, if they feel suitable.

The amount of scholarship is very sufficient for monthly expenses and saving for students.

Tuition Fee and Housing: Free,

Food: subsidized (just 5 SR/day, breakfast+lunch+Dinner)

To and Fro annual airfare: fully supported

Meanwhile, one can look for a suitable Prof as supervisor, and can send his/her CV and academic/experience documents to the Prof. It would be helpful in getting admission easily.

Women’s campus is in Riyadh and near to Men’s campus. The same online application applies to both genders.
