They have following position Open.

Designation: Software Development Manager

 

Job location: Kuwait

 

 Job profile

Under the scope of above mentioned functions, the job can be described as follows:

 

-          Engage in user requirements gathering and preparation of software specification.

-          Engage in design of application architecture, high level and low level designs.

-          Work with open source products and projects in an agile development environment.

-          Collaborate with multi-site teams across the business to plan future product direction and development.

-          Manage a team of software development professionals to design and deliver software on time and to a high level of quality, delegating activities effectively to utilize skills and facilitate task delivery.

-          Provide overall leadership, direction and motivation to the team.

-          Ensure team deliverables meet the required quality levels to satisfy both customer and product requirements in the agreed timeframes.

-          Mentor team in software development best practices, time management and planning, emphasizing the importance of quality in all areas of work.

-          Work closely with all departments to meet company goals and deliverables, understanding the challenges and negotiating time scales, features, task priority and all aspects of product development.

-          Ensure company values and principles as defined by senior management are understood and practiced by your team.

-          Manage relationships with partners to provide integrated solutions for customers

 

2. Qualifications, Skills & Experience

-          Experience:  6 – 10 years in software development. With at least 2 years in a managerial role (product development) and 2 years in a Technical Architect role.

-          Qualification:  A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

-          Extensive Technology and programming experience in Oracle, MySQL, JBoss, Java , Web services, Ajax , XML, Linux.

-          Significant experience managing a team to deliver large scale software projects on time and to a high standard of quality to fully satisfy customer expectations and requirements

-          Experience managing and mentoring software engineers.

-          Significant experience in cross team and cross site collaboration.
