Why not consider teaching at Hopeland Academy or Hopeland Institute?

HOPELAND ACADEMY, an innovative, private Algerian preschool and elementary school located in Algiers, is slated to open September, 2010, inshaAllah.

The mission of Hopeland Academy is to develop each student’s individual excellence in an uplifting and nurturing learning environment. Our goal for every child is to inspire compassion, global awareness and life-long learning skills, inshaAllah. We will follow the Algerian curriculum with lessons aligned to international standards and methods. Supplementary language courses will help children reach international levels of communication. Preschool children age 3-5 will be taught using a multilingual Montessori system in Arabic, English and French, inshaAllah.

Hopeland Academy is currently interviewing for a number of teaching positions.

Montessori Preschool Director and Montessori teachers in Algiers

Minimum qualifications: Montessori certification and five years' teaching experience. In addition, preschool director candidates must have a recognized degree in early childhood development or related field, or be in the medical field (doctor, nurse, pharmacist, etc).

Preferred qualifications: Teaching experience in a Montessori preschool environment, fluent in Arabic, English and/or French.

Primary and Secondary School Teachers in Algiers
We are looking for teachers in all subjects for our Primary and Secondary School.
Minimum qualifications: Native Arabic-speaking teachers for to deliver the Algerian program; and English native speakers for teaching English at both the Institute and the Academy. All should have masters degrees OR a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years teaching experience OR a bachelor's degree with 5 years work experience with TESOL or other teaching certification. Algerian nationals with other qualifications are also encouraged to apply. We provide ongoing teacher training.
· Primary and Secondary School Director in Algiers

Minimum qualifications: Algerian citizen, university degree, five years' teaching experience.
Preferred qualifications: Master's degree, teaching experience in Algerian and international primary/secondary schools, experience with school administration, team player, pleasant disposition, strong management skills, open to learning and applying innovative ways of teaching, fluent in Arabic, English and French.
HOPELAND INSTITUTE (a language school) is also looking for English as a Second Language Teachers in Algiers
Minimum qualifications: Native speakers for teaching English at both Hopeland Institute and Hopeland Academy. Masters degrees OR a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years teaching experience OR a bachelor's degree with 5 years work experience with TESOL or other teaching certification.
Ideally, we would like to hire a teaching married couple, inshaAllah. Please, spread the word!
